Step Aboard

To step aboard Ruda today is to find her looking very much as she would have done at the time of her launch.

Down below, the richly coloured hardwoods of her interior carry the air of a gentleman’s club, and although she is these days equipped with all that would be expected of a capable, modern cruising boat, nothing of it intrudes to break the spell.

Her original joinery is of teak and Honduras mahogany, and her saloon is panelled with delicately patterned lacewood (London Plane), which had become the hallmark of the yard’s boats.
