1937 Outline plans published in The Motor Boat magazine


1938 Ruda launched and exhibited at the London Boat Show. Review published in The Motor Boat magazine


1939 Lloyds Register of Yachts gives ownership to Gordon M. Haworth of Hove, Sussex who also owned three other yachts: Hilsa, Lady Bee and Romola. Ruda’s Port of Registry (PoR) is given as Shoreham


1940 29th June: Requisitioned on behalf of the Ministry of War Transport under the R(T98B) Net Charterparties Agreement, from G. M. Haworth, for £27. Registered as a motor boat and employed by the Admiralty on Auxiliary Patrol Duties until 26th May, 1941. (SMBA 529) and (SSBA 500(1)).


1941 26th May: Compulsorily acquired by the Ministry of War Transport for Admiralty service and continued to be employed on Auxiliary Patrol Duties until November 1941 then laid up until June 1942


1942 June: Employed by the Admiralty on miscellaneous Naval Duties until Oct. 1944


1944 27th October: Laid up under Admiralty control.


1946 January: Sold by the Admiralty


1947 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to Gordon M. Haworth who owned one other boat: Wayfarer


1952 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to H. Payne of Maidstone, Kent who owned two other boats: Ona and Patsy. Ruda’s Port of Registry is given as Shoreham


1952 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to J. J. W. Salmond of Salisbury, Wiltshire. Port of registry is given as Shoreham


1959 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to Agamemnon Boatyard Ltd., home port recorded as Bucklers Hard


1960 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to D. B. Parkes of Lymington, Hampshire who also owned three other boats: Asle, Black Witch II Valmara. Ruda’s PoR is Shoreham and home port is Bucklers Hard.


1960 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to V. H. Doree of Leicester who also owned five other boats: Destina, Erla, Rose of Arden, Thalamerce and Thuella


1963 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership of one boat: Destina, to V. H. Doree. Registered against his company (Blue Waters Ltd.) were Erla, Isopel Berners, Rose of Arden, Thuella and Ruda


1964 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to G. D. Luck of Fowey, Cornwall.


1972 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to S. G. Hurst of Liskeard, Cornwall. PoR was Shoreham and home port was Fowey


1974 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to G. S. Greenfield of Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire. PoR was Shoreham and home port was Worcester


1980 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to C. R. Watton of Birmingham, W. Midlands. PoR was Shoreham and home port was Worcester


1980 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to Roger Hodgson


1995 Lloyds Register of yachts gives ownership to Lee Fisher. PoR is Shoreham and home port is Salcombe
